My daughter and I found a car from their online inventory, and was encouraged to come to their location when I inquired about it's availability. I HATE CAR SHOPPING. HATE it. So when we arrived, I was ready to fend off cheesy sales people with a "we're just looking" response. Candor Motors was small, but had many cars in our price range, and I wasn't bombarded by pushy salespeople. It is family owned and they were super friendly and had the best customer service. I didn't feel rushed to buy, didn't feel hassled or hustled. They were honest about the car history and how they acquire their vehicles. My daughter and I test drove a Toyota Rav4, asked for a good price and left. I don't remember the name of the nice lady that we talked to at the dealership, but she called me on our way home from the dealership to give us a bottom line drive out price of the vehicle we liked. My husband, daughter and I came back at 5pm that day and we left with a new car before 6pm. The entire process was painless and easy. The next time we are searching for a car, we are calling Benny Matthew at Candor Motors first. It literally was the best car shopping experience I've ever had. And NO I don't work for this dealership or receive compensation from them in any way. Just a McKinney parent looking for a good local deal on a reliable car for my new teenaged driver.

My son has been looking for a used car for about three months now. He finally found one that was within his budget at Candor Motors. Knowing how deceptive some car salesmen could be, we prayed that this would be a pleasant experience for my son who's buying his first car. We prayed to deal with someone honest. Our prayers were answered. It turned out that the owner himself, Benny, sold the cars himself. A solid man of character and faith. He was upfront with us. I will certainly go back to this small dealership and refer my friends. When buying something, especially cars, I want someone I can trust. Thanks, Benny.

My daughter totaled her car and we had the money from her insurance to find a replacement. When we went to the dealership, we were treated so politely. Benny even gave us some pizza and some bottled water. He had such an excellent inventory of beautiful cars to choose from. I told him what we wanted in a car and special requirements such as a good car facts report, excellent condition, safe, and all of the cool things my daughter wanted that she had in her other car. Benny found the perfect car and my daughter loves it, and I feel she is secure in driving it. His front desk person was so pleasant and fun to visit with and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Candor motors is a gold mine of a find when we were searching for just the right car. I already have Benny keeping an eye out for a truck for my son, who wants to use it as he is a realtor that likes to take care of his clients just like Candor Motors treated us...Mike

I really can't say enough positive things about my car buying experience with Jeremiah and Annie at Candor.

To be brief...No pressure, no hassle, no "sales" tactics.

At first, I was skeptical about purchasing a car from a small dealer but they had a car that was too good not to consider.

I called to see if they still had the car, and spoke with Jeremiah. He was polite and professional. I showed up, he gave me the keys and said let me know if you have any questions. He walked away, gave me space and let me take my time looking at the car. Then I test drove it solo for about 20 minutes.

I returned and let him know I had others to go see that day and he was so nonchalant..."Ok, just let me know..."

Ultimately, I returned a day or two later and we agreed on a price. No hidden fees, etc. Easy paperwork through my bank and done.

If they have a car you like, just go check it out. I'm confident your experience will be the same.

It's been nearly ten years since I've had to car shop and I wasn't looking forward to the experience of hunting for a car and then sifting through unscrupulous dealers, sales pitches, etc. I am grateful to have met and purchased from Candor Motors. From start to finish it was a painless, stress less and actually joyful experience. The car was true to the advertising (pictures and condition) and Benny was a pleasure to work with as were all staff. I am presently waiting to purchase a car for my daughter as well and feel confident of a good, problem free second purchase. Shopped around for a Kia Soul for a couple weeks, and contacted Candor Motor Sales about a promising 2011 Kia Soul. Seller contacted me promptly and provided a free Carfax report which checked out clean. The car was as exactly described when we came to check it out and they openly answered our questions. I feared I would have to play hardball when negotiating a price, but Benny -- who is also the dealership owner - - gave us a good deal and we were sold on the value of the car and the honesty of his pitch. We ended up buying it and loving the experience. The staff were polite, patient, and charming -- buying a car can be a hassle, but they were actually a joy to work with! They made the buying process a breeze, and they went above-and-beyond to explore payment options with us that would allow us to use our credit card for points. Even though we ultimately couldn't make that work and had to work out an alternative, we definitely appreciated their helpfulness. Candor Motor Sales is a fitting name for an honest dealership with great staff, highly recommend!
